Amy Clare Kraje, DVM, Diplomate A.C.V.I.M.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Clare received her DVM Degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional college of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.  She then went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Georgia. After her internship, she then completed a residency in small animal medicine at the University of Tennessee in 2000.  Dr. Clare then spent the next 2 years in a busy referral practice in Ohio before coming to California to join South Bay Veterinary Specialists in the summer of 2002.  Dr. Clare accepts referrals in all categories of internal medicine.  She is board certified in internal medicine and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Besides being an excellent internist, she is also an avid rock climber and hiker. Her husband Brian Kraje, DVM is an emergency clinician at the Emergency Animal Clinic of South San Jose.


Jennifer S. Sergeeff DVM, Diplomate A.C.V.I.M.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Sergeeff received her DVM degree from U.C. Davis in 1999, and then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Purdue University in 2000. Afterwards, she worked for a year at a specialty referral hospital in San Carlos, California. In 2001 she resumed her advanced training at the University of Minnesota, where she completed a residency in small animal medicine in 2004. After spending all those years in the Midwest and enduring the winters, Dr. Sergeeff decided to return to her native Northern California (she was born and raised up the peninsula in Hillsborough). She joined South Bay Veterinary Specialists in the fall of 2004. Dr. Sergeeff specializes in internal medicine with a focused interest in endocrinology, gastroenterology, hepatic, and renal diseases. Dr. Sergeeff is board certified in internal medicine and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
